‘Far Away’

With fettered wings – we fly
ever upward to the sky.

Uplifting gales both rise and fall
triumph and tragedy …accepting all.

A crescent moon or gleaming dawn-
a serendipitous journey we embark upon.

Amid the shoreline are cast tell-tale paces-
of countless missteps and unvictored races.

Soon forgiving waves shall cleanse the blemished sand.
The cruel past forgotten as you clutch my hand!

Come with me to far away…..

About Bo Bandy
