‘Moral posture’

It’s much easier to deflect,
than to be honest and direct.
The former requires deceit;
While the latter is correct.

Standing upright and erect
has a positive world effect.
It beats both types of lying:
a moral posture to neglect.

The road to achieve ‘perfect’;
is always a treacherous trek.
We start with good intentions
but end broken and wrecked.

An honest soul, pays his toll.
Never to chance fate on a roll.
The die is cast, life goes past.
Soon we all end up in a hole.

About Bo Bandy

Just a creative soul trapped in a world of cookie-cutter pragmatism...
