‘Plug up your ears’

Every one of our detractors, employs different factors; either insincere praise, or hanging us from the rafters.

Some pile on hollow criticisms or tear down our pride. This is a theft of confidence; and in whom we confide.

They instill a crippling doubt, or a spoonful of blame; soon the details are apparent in their dirty little game.

Full-scale accusations rain down to crush the spirit. Plug your ears defiantly so you don’t have to hear it.
