‘Hot Summer kiss’

Yield to the unassailable;
Winter’s breathless gait.
Autumn’s reign has fallen;
for this I can hardly wait.

Powerful timpani drumbeat
echo its fierce windy scowl.
Snowflakes deliver a purity.
The storm; listen to it howl.

Seasons in salient rotation:
Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall.
The cycles of life are eternal.
Following a blueprint for all.

With reverie I salute to thee;
from the days of frigid mist.
Soon this chill will be gone;
replaced by a Summer kiss.
