‘Transition’

All things come to pass.
One day will be our last.
From sea to shining sea,
no more whales or fleas.

As oceans turns to sand;
deserts were fertile land.
Eroded by wind and rain.
Cast away the remains.

Wasteland to lush oasis;
nature obeys this basis.
Peaks arise from plains.
Shorelines lose or gain.

Mountains spring forests fall.
Father time consumes ’em all.
By transition a planet thrives.
In the end everything dies.
