‘Morale compass’

We follow a morale compass,
to track our floundering fires.
With a needle aimed at hope,
to lift our confidence higher.

All paths point to acceptance,
with validation as ‘true north’.
Never again allow naysayers
to determine your self-worth.

It’s a struggle to be positive.
Negativity can be distressing.
Swiftly walk past defeatism.
Hopelessness is depressing.

The world can be oppressive.
It can drag your spirit down.
Before life loses all meaning
turn that compass around.
