‘The dustbin’

They dazzle the sunless sky.
Endless stars, twinkle bright.
Dim they may be; individually.
Birthday candles for our night.

Fixed patterns emerge above.
Light strings continuously spin. 
Shiny clusters rotate and swirl:
only glitter in a cosmic dustbin.
